Used Original 1978 Puch Maxi-Luxe Moped E50 High-Torque Engine. This engine will fit all late 1977 through 1984 single speed Puch powered mopeds including Sears Free Spirit, JC Penney Pinto and Swinger models and Murray. This 2 hp engine features a cast iron sleeved high-torque cylinder assembly, 6 wire Bosch magneto and a 2 shoe clutch. DOES NOT INCLUDE carburetor or intake. While the cylinder was off being inspected, we installed new rings and honed the cylinder. This engine will need to have the ignition serviced and timed and a new spark plug installed before using. This engine was removed from a running Puch moped.

Connecting rod vertical play�
Crankshaft lateral and vertical play
Cracked, damaged or altered cases
Transmission play and friction (when applicable)
